
Fishing remains strong across much of the region as June settles in, with striped bass continuing to headline the action from Montauk to the North Shore. Live eels, jigs and artificials are producing quality fish, while fluke catches are becoming more consistent from both boats and the surf. Porgies are beginning to show in greater numbers along local beaches, and even squid are providing additional opportunities.
