ANOTHER WEEK OF CONSISTENT COD – LI BOAT SHOW THIS WEEKEND

While the wind has been steady, the days that have been fishable are seeing good results from the head boats going out in search of cod. Tuesday saw that small window and a few boats were able to capitalize, getting limits for some of their fares. They’re looking to sail again during the next window so keep an eye on their schedules. This weekend also marks the Long Island Boat Show at the Nassau Coliseum. Event times are 12 to 8 on Friday, 11 to 8 on Saturday and 11 to 6 on Sunday. The Fisherman Magazine will have a booth at the event doing subscriptions and giving out tackle for signing up or resubscribing.
