NJ Stripers w/ ’23 Fluke, Sea Bass & Porgy Update
It’s all about the striped bass this week, as we run through some of the latest striper reports from The Fisherman’s readers coming in almost daily from the salty interior rivers, as well as along both the Delaware and Raritan. While bloodworms on a circle hook deadsticked from shore is probably the best bet, plenty of anglers are reporting striper success on small plastics and swim shads. After giving thought to an early splash date, we check in with our Pocono Outdoors Guy with a quick visit to Quepos for a look at the Costa Rica action. And if you like the circus then be sure to grab the popcorn and kick back with our breakdown of the New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council and Gov. Phil Murphy’s latest jab at anglers, advocates and ratepayers with an eye towards next week’s congressional field hearing in Wildwood on wind and whales.
