May fishing is in full swing and inshore bluefin just joined the party. Reports of giants came in from the South Shore of the island from just off the shore. Stripers are getting bigger on the same shore and moving towards the eastern end. Fluke fishing appeased those who went out searching for them. Bluefish continue their South Shore invasion and porgies are now hot and heavy on both the North Shore and inside Peconic Bay. Weakfish are also mixed in inside Peconic and South Shore bays.
