Nor’easter Surf Fishing: Bass to over 50 Pounds!
Montauk Tournament Results
While the northeast blow shut down most boat fishing around the island, it kicked off some spectacular surf fishing opportunities along both the North and South Shore that included stripers, bluefish and albies. Casters that braved the conditions were rewarded with excellent striper fishing with a couple to over 50 pounds during the blow. We have a rundown of some of the fishing around that island from the storm with results from the Fred Golofaro Memorial Montauk Classic tournament last weekend in this week’s video along with the contributors giving their best insights for the week.
