It’s no secret that the bays around the island are on fire right now with a mix of species! We’ve got an insanely hot fluke bite going on along the entire South Shore. In between the forks, the weakfish bite is as hot as anything right now, with some anglers reporting catches of over 50 fish per outing. Sea bass and porgies are joining the great fluke game going on in Montauk as well. The North Shore is starting to see better striper and bluefish fishing by the day. Some better reports are also coming from the surf on the east end and South Shore inlets. Keep in mind The Fisherman’s big show and seminar will be taking place next Thursday, the 26th. The first 600 guests through the door will receive free gifts worth the price of admission alone, if not more. Join us for a night of informative seminars on multiple topics, vendors offering great deals and information, and, of course, the comradery between other anglers right before the ’24 fall run. See you then!
