On the East End, fluke action remains steady in the bays with limits coming in, while the South Shore surf gave up plenty of shorts with some solid keepers mixed in. Fire Island Inlet produced a 13.8-pound doormat along with other quality fish, and Moriches Bay delivered fluke in the 8- to 9-pound class.
