New Jersey’s summer flounder season comes to a close on September 25, and while the reefs, wrecks and ocean lumps have been the place to be for targeting keepers in recent weeks, don’t forget about the inlet “choke points” as well.  Plenty of bait in outback waters, including peanut bunker and finger mullet, which along with acres of rainfish are all staging for their migratory run. We have a 13-pound Delaware doormat taking top fish honors of the week, good timing with the 13.5-pounder on this week’s digital weekly edition of The Fisherman.  We run down the beach and outback striper options as we transition to fall, with our weekly offshore intel from the Canyon Runner crew.  A freshwater report torn from the pages of The Fisherman with JB Kasper, along with some lunar predictions of the upcoming buffalo stampede of October stripers.  Wrap up the week’s video with a look at upcoming events at the Jersey Shore.
