New Jersey Video Fishing Forecast – June 17, 2021

New Jersey, Delaware Bay Father’s Day Forecast

We want YOU, to enjoy the weekend! And except for the chance of an isolated thunderstorm here and there, the weekend ahead looks mostly sunny and dry for folks looking to get out and enjoy a bit of fishing in the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region. Back bay tides are outgoing Saturday and Sunday morning, and with a little SW/W in the forecast that should make your fluke drifts more productive. Black drum reports are filtering up along the Jersey Shore beaches at this point, and while a lot of attention has moved away from striped bass in the middle of June there are still a good number of quality fish to be had. A few jumbo blues and plenty of cocktails around for the weekend ahead, while black sea bass season is in the waning days of the spring even though the fish are still snapping hard. We’re officially into shark season at the Jersey Shore, with threshers reported from just off the beach out 20 to 30 miles, while the mako window is officially open. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, it’s a great weekend for angling pursuits for the entire family!
