Halloween Forecast – Cruel Trick, or Striper Treat?

Well, the weather this week has been for the birds! The NOAA Weather forecast has a small craft advisory in effect until 6 p.m. on Thursday the 28th, with a gale warning in effect for Friday the 29th. The LBI Surf Fishing Classic is still producing loads of kingfish weigh-ins, while boaters are reminded that we’re heading into dredging season so you might want to keep an eye on local township updates in case it’s coming time to close of any of your local creeks. Our Pocono Outdoors Guy’s latest report, as well as a quick look at a change in state regulations, the politics of fishing and the latest striper recruitment numbers out of MD, VA and NJ.
