Sheepshead Tips & Satellite Blips At Stone Harbor
In this week’s video fishing forecast for the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region, spend some time behind Stone Harbor with Capt. Dan Schafer of Insomniac Guide Service and Bottom Sweeper Jigs talking sheepshead and the post Labor Day action behind the barrier islands this month. Despite the unofficial end of summer, there are plenty of summer visitors still around including a 64-pound cobia off Cape May and some strange baits snared up along the Manasquan. A statewide fluke update shows the best bite is deep and north, while our weekly Pocono report finds the fishermen returning to the big lakes for the fall. Plus, a quick look at weekend weather for those looking to chase “ghosts” around those inshore bunker schools.
