July 28, 2022 Weekend Fishing Forecast NJ/DE Bay Region

It’s the final weekend of July, soon entering the second half of The Fisherman’s Dream Boat Fishing Challenge and precariously close to that still scary three-letter word (back to school). Plenty of summer action in place in the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region, and we kick off this week’s report with a rundown on what you’ll find in the August edition of The Fisherman Magazine out this week. A few stripers in the wash, water temps are fluctuating and impacting the fluke bite plus or minus, but they are there – and an important issue in Ocean County for all mobile surfcasters to keep an eye on as the U.S. Department of Interior and N.J. Department of Environmental Protection are ganging up on the town of Brick perhaps in hopes of seeing beach buggy permits restricted along the entire Jersey Shore. Oh yeah, the hits keep coming!
