Last Chance at Trophy NJ Stripers!

After the first full week of June there are still jumbo striped bass on the prowl at the Jersey Shore, especially in the North Jersey region.  Details on this Friday’s Manhattan Cup charity catch and release event.  In our weekly reports at TheFisherman.com posted earlier this week, fluke action is also heating up throughout the Garden State, while yellowfin are setting up along the canyon grounds now.  South Jersey waters have seen in influx of bait, which is keeping weakfish action going for those hunting tiderunning unicorns.  The black drum bite on Delaware Bay was solid last week, but the recent full moon could be a sign that the end of the run is getting near.  Don’t forget, New Jersey anglers have until June 19 to take advantage of the 10 fish bag limit on black sea bass; get on them while the getting is good!
