NJ’s First Wave Of Fall Stripers Arrive

The fall striper run is officially underway at the Jersey Shore, with solid 40-pound class fish now being boated off Monmouth County and a handful of good fish caught along the north/central beaches in the 30-pound range. Solid striper action reported in the bays as well, as cooler nights and dropping water temperatures has kicked the “outback” bass bite into gear.
