The weather finally takes a turn for the better after two weeks of nor’east winds and rains at the Jersey Shore, but we are still waiting for that striped bass explosion; in this week’s video fishing forecast (from the American Sportfishing Association’s annual summit in Miramar Beach, FL) we’ll take a look at that fuse might soon be lit. Starting off this week’s video fishing forecast we dig into the new PFD requirements impacting New Jersey boaters as of November 1, Tautog and black sea bass is keeping rods bent this week, it’s primetime for chasing down pelagics off the beach, and we head back on the beach for a look at the surf and visit with Professor John Tiedemann from Monmouth University and safe-handling practices for striped bass.
