New England - Cape Cod and the Islands Fishing Reports

New England Video Fishing Forecast September 10th, 2026

I think most would classify the start of the 2026 albie run as “weird”. There have been some epic feeds and wild moments, but in it’s opening 10 days, the bite has lacked consistency and the fish are moving around a ton. Striper action is beginning to show signs of organizing into a full-on fall run with isolated blitz action and great catches, particularly to the north. It was also a very good week for fluke fishing, south of Block Island and there has been some good newds on rec-sized bluefin as well.
