Long Island, Metro Video Fishing Forecast September 3rd, 2026

This week’s Long Island fishing forecast comes to you from Bergen Bay Docks, where we take a look at the latest action happening across the region. Inshore bluefin remain red hot off Montauk, weakfish are showing in the South Shore bays, bluefish are active around Jones Inlet, and quality fluke continue to come from the western surf. We also highlight a surprise cobia off Coney Island, black drum from Eatons Neck, big porgies at the Middle Grounds, and Ryan Piper’s impressive 18.49-pound bluefish weighed in at Cow Harbor that unofficially won him the WICC Greatest Bluefish Tournament. Plus, we check in with Canyon Runner, preview the latest Dreamboat Challenge standings and spotlight the September issue
