New Jersey & Delaware Bay Video Fishing Forecast September 24th, 2026

Youtube video

We're at Shoretown Ball Park at 2 Stadium Way in Lakewood, NJ this week for the Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo from September 25-27. The big nor'easter is blowing up most saltwater fishing plans for the week, but on the bright side it looks mostly dry in our local forecast for Friday and Saturday at the show! Fluke season ends in New Jersey on Friday the 25th, and it seems most Atlantic Coast anglers have the same response to '26 being the year of the short fish – an exclusive video shares the coastal trend. Dive into the October edition of The Fisherman with a look at menhaden management and a rundown on this past week’s NJ/DE menhaden hearing with a bit of subjective, and objective reporting. The 10-fish sea bass bag is back in play again at the Jersey Shore, but until seas lay down a bit you may want to try your hand at freshwater action in the Garden State without a license or trout stamp this Saturday. Finally, we run through the Trump administration's executive order - Restoring American Saltwater Angling and Recreation – to learn what it could mean for anglers over the coming months.
